Why Snow Tires or Winter Tires?

Winter tires perform better than other tires such as all-season tires in the snow and ice due to a special tread pattern that reduces snow build-up. Snow tires also have a biting edge and a compound made for colder conditions which helps to maintain traction in slippery conditions. 

Will I Need New TPMS Sensors?

No, you typically will not need new Tire Pressure Management Sensors when you change out your tires for snow tires. 

Can I keep My Existing Tires?

Yes! As long as there's enough tread and they are in a good condition, it's a good idea to keep them for when winter is done. It's not a good idea to drive around in snow tires during the summer as the tires will generally wear quicker than a different type of tire. You can have a set for winter and a set for the rest of the year.
