Engine and Transmission Performance
All models of the RAM 1500 come standard with 8-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on all models and four-wheel drive is available as an upgrade.
The base model comes with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine which is supplemented by the mild hybrid system. There are also options for a 5.7-liter V8 engine with or without mild hybrid assistance and a supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 in the TRX model. These engines provide a range from 260 to 702 horsepower and ample towing capabilities.
Technology
The technological features offered on this year’s model of the RAM 1500 are impressive even for the base trim. This comes standard with a 5.0″ display and a 6 speaker audio system. You will also get USB type and Type C ports in both rows of the truck.
More high end trims offer larger displays, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, built-in navigation, an upgraded audio system, and a 360-degree view camera system among other features.
Safety

Pricing
Pricing for the RAM 1500 starts at around $28,900 can go up to over $70,000. Some features included in more expensive models are upgraded technology options, larger alloy wheels, more powerful engines, premium headlights, upgraded interior materials, and more.
There are 9 trim levels available: the Tradesman, HFE, Big Horn, Rebel, LaRAMie, Longhorn, Longhorn 10th anniversary edition, Limited, and the new TRX.

Two New Trims
Perhaps the most anticipated new feature for the 2021 lineup of the RAM 1500 is the inclusion of the high-performance RAM TRX trim.
